Bideford RFC is a traditional family club with great values. We run a wide variety of teams, ranging from primary school, to secondary school, and upwards.
Our site is set on our nursery in beautiful North Devon. We are in a very sheltered spot but less than a mile from the sea. We are close to the twin estuary of the Taw and Torridge rivers.
Founded in 1905 at Instow, at the confluence of the Taw and Torridge rivers in North Devon, the Club celebrated its centenary in 2005. Whether you sail dinghies, catamarans, cruisers or prefer motors, we'll float your boat.
We meet informally in the Joiners' Arms 6 Market Street, Bideford on the first Tuesday of every month, at 7.30 pm. Our informal café meetings are at The Pannier Pantry at the Custom House, 1 Bridgeland Street on the third Thursday of each month, at 11.00 am. All are welcome to these meetings and to
Our main provision for Bideford is daily kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding on the River Torridge. We operate daily between Little America (LA) and Kingsley Steps / Bank End on the Quay.
