Bideford has been twinned with the French town of Landivisiau in Brittany since 1976. Landivisiau is situated about 25 kilometres south of the ferry port of Roscoff. Very strong links with Landivisiau have been built up over the last thirty years by the Bideford Twinning Association which organises the twinning on behalf of the Town Council.

The Sunset Festivals were the first ever series of events we put on. They were created to make Saturdays, classically change over day, busy in the village. It worked, brought in people but also created a magical family buzz/vibe. Established in 2016 they are an integral part of our events calendar.
We are always looking for entertainment for our Sunset Festivals. Over the past few years we have found some wonderful acts that we now use regular for our other village events.
