Goodliving Christian Bookshop opened in 2001, and exists to serve the Church in North Devon and throughout the world, and to be a Christian witness here in Mill Street Bideford. The shop is owned and managed by Christina Harris, assisted by husband Phil.
Triskel Gallery takes its name from the "three legged" celtic symbol or triskelion. Among its ancient connotations is the idea of three into one. In this case, two of the three elements are Michael Dendle's abstract paintings and Mary Dendle's knitwear, jewellery and needlecrafts.
Our main provision for Bideford is daily kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding on the River Torridge. We operate daily between Little America (LA) and Kingsley Steps / Bank End on the Quay.
Situated next door to The Burton at Bideford, Café du Parc is a fabulous meeting place for breakfast, lunch and relaxing chats over coffee and a cake. The café is bistro-style, giving it a light, airy atmosphere with friendly staff who’ll make you feel at home.
