Bideford Canoe Club

The club is active throughout the whole year and is always keen to welcome new members. The main activities are kayak and wave-ski surfing, sea kayaking and both flat and white water river trips. Levels range from absolute beginners to expert.

The club welcomes members of all ages, with a general minimum of nine years, as anyone younger does not fit the equipment we have on offer. Family membership is always a popular choice.

If you are a beginner member we can offer training throughtout the year, introductory work is done with winter indoor pool sessions, summer evening courses and weekend trips throughout the year. Many people are willing to help bring on your skills and confidence, done through training on both a formal and informal basis.

Our club insurance means we CAN’T rent out equipment to non-members nor offer taster sessions.
