Celebrating Devon Air Ambulance

On July 10th a wonderful celebration of DAA (Devon Air Ambulance) took place in Bideford celebrating 30 years of rescue missions by Devon Air Ambulance. The family-friendly event was hosted by Bideford Rugby Club "It's our kind supporters that make our service possible and we want to celebrate that," said the trust. The charity has carried out more than 31,000 missions since 1992 and in 2021 its two Exeter-based helicopters were sent to 1,384 missions.

There will be an opportunity for visitors to meet members of the DAA crew and to take part in a lifesaving CPR and defibrillator training masterclass delivered by a team of advanced paramedics in critical care.
