Bideford Town Centre Partnership

The vision of the Partnership is to help revitalise the Town Centre by supporting the development of a mix of retail, community and leisure uses that create a district Town Centre offer, appealing to residents and visitors alike.

The partnership membership includes local retailers, traders, festival and event coordinators as well as representation from the police and the Councils. Meetings are held at least 8 times a year. 

OBJECTIVES:

• To encourage collaboration amongst individuals and groups with an interest in Bideford Town Centre, and its surrounds.
• To lead on the development and implementation of an Action Plan to promote new projects, coordinate marketing, and enhance and promote an events programme for the Town.
• Highlight and improve the Town’s assets; its high quality landscape, its quay, its historic townscape, its tourism heritage.
• To regularly monitor and review approved projects against stated outcomes.
• To ensure the work of the Partnership is effectively communicated.
• To provide opportunities for new ideas and proposals to come forward for consideration and inclusion in the Action Plan.
