A community owned and run health food shop, offering a friendly, personal service to all customers. Operated as a not-for-profit co-operative, with any surplus being put back into the community to run events, talks, workshops and outreach events, all loosely based upon healthy living and eating.
We sell a wide range of food, mostly organic, a lot of "free from" foods, organic fruit and vegetables and fresh artisan sourdough bread. An increasing range of plastic free items sold loose from dispensers and jars - over 160 products including cereals, rice, grains, pasta, seeds, nuts, dried fruits, teas, coffee beans and the biggest range of herbs and spices in Bideford....bring your own container to save 5% on most items.
We also sell toiletry refills - laundry liquids, hand wash, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toilet cleaner, dishwasher gel, as well as "naked" soaps, shampoo bars, plastic free toothpaste and deodorant in jars.
We are a Refill Devon point offering filtered drinking water and were the first shop in town to gain Surfers Against Sewage Plastic Free Accreditation. We are a collection point for used and unwanted mobile phones and printer cartridges, and looking to develop this into a collection point for plastic wrapping.
We have a Chatter and Natter Table...anybody can pop in, sit at the table and chat to others.
