Fancy Something Sweet

Fancy Something Sweet is a family run business selling our own handmade clotted cream fudge and personalised chocolates along with all your favourite pic‘n’mix and traditional old fashioned sweets.

We originally set up the business on the web in 2012, selling our products directly to the customer, offering gift options to send to customers family and friends. We still operate from this website- www.fancysomethingsweet.co.uk We also now offer an order system so that customers can order online and collect from the shop at 60 Mill Street. This is very popular especially with our personalised chocolate items, such as chocolate pizzas, giant Easter eggs and chocolate personalised lollies.

The shop in Mill Street was originally the ‘The Chocolate Box’ a sweet and chocolate shop that has been in Bideford many years. In February 2018 we moved in, closed for 10 days to refit the shop with wooden fittings for an old fashioned traditional look and fill the premises with our products. We are enjoying running the shop as a traditional sweet and chocolate shop and selling our own handmade fudge directly to the customer. Samples of fudge and chocolate always available, if you are in Bideford you must come in and try some!
