Unit 10-11, Butchers Row
Trev's shed started trading in Bideford Pannier Market in 2012, with a stall selling his wood turned items. Trev left school at 15 and trained as a coach builder and has always loved working with wood. In 2014 he moved from the Market Hall to a single unit in Butchers Row and subsequently to a double unit in 2017, when the original shop became too small for the demand.
Although Trev still makes and sells wood turned articles, both practical and decorative, he also gives wood turning lessons for complete beginners and improvers. The public are always very welcome to come along to watch and ask questions about wood turning and woodwork in general.
Trev undertakes furniture restoration and repairs, also spinning wheels and spinning accessories are a speciality. Commissions are also undertaken, for example house signs and bespoke gifts. He also works in collaboration with other artisans in Butchers Row and the Market Hall. Where appropriate Trev likes to use recycled and reclaimed timber as his motto is 'Giving New Life To Old Wood'.
