Triskel Arts, Shop Front, Butchers Row

Triskel Gallery takes its name from the "three legged" celtic symbol or triskelion. Among its ancient connotations is the idea of three into one.  In this case, two of the three elements are Michael Dendle's abstract paintings and Mary Dendle's knitwear, jewellery and needlecrafts.

Michael's art is that of an experimenter with colour. Visitors comment on a calmness and tranquility to the images.

Mary's finely detailed Lundy-inspired badge embroideries prove popular with locals and visitors alike. As the seasons change, hand-knitted headwear leads the way.

The third slice of this eclectic pie belongs to Crowtree Cards, featuring an original and exclusive range of humorous words and images. The full range, exclusive to Triskel, is available from www.crowtreecards.com.

Michael and Mary are pleased to have been part of the vibrant Butchers Row community since 2012, having started (like many) with a regular stall in the market itself.
